1768 - Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn Sadaqah informed me, saying: I heard al-Maymuni say: I said to Ahmad ibn Hanbal: "O Abu ‘Abd Allah, when the funeral procession of Ibn Tarrah was brought out, the children began to shout: 'Write to Malik: The firewood of the Fire has arrived.'" He [al-Maymuni] said: Abu ‘Abd Allah began to cover himself and began to say: "They are shouting, they are shouting."
