1775 - Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Mahmud ibn Farqad al-Warraq informed me, saying: Ahmad ibn Sa'd al-Jawhari narrated to me, saying: I heard Ahmad ibn Hanbal say: 'There is no one more harmful to the people of Islam than the Jahmiyyah. They intend nothing but the invalidation of the Quran and the ahadith of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.'
