1785 - And Abu Bakr al-Marwadhi informed us, saying: I asked Abu Abd Allah about someone who suspends judgment [in the matter of the Quran] and does not say 'uncreated'? He said: 'I say: [It is] the Speech of Allah.' He [Abu Abd Allah] said: 'It should be said to him: The scholars say: [It is] uncreated; if he refuses, then he is a Jahmi.'
١٧٨٥ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْمَرُّوذِيُّ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مَنْ وَقَفَ، لَا يَقُولُ غَيْرُ مَخْلُوقٍ؟ قَالَ: أَنَا أَقُولُ: كَلَامُ اللَّهِ. قَالَ: " يُقَالَ لَهُ: إِنَّ الْعُلَمَاءَ يَقُولُونَ: غَيْرُ مَخْلُوقٍ، فَإِنْ أَبَى فَهُوَ جَهْمِيٌّ "
