1788 - Abdullah ibn Ahmad informed us in another place, saying: I heard my father (p. 131) saying: "Whoever among the companions of Hadith or among the companions of kalam (speculative theology) refrains from saying: 'The Quran is not created,' then he is a Jahmi."
١٧٨٨ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ فِي مَوْضِعٍ آخَرَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي ⦗١٣١⦘ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ كَانَ فِي أَصْحَابِ الْحَدِيثِ أَوْ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الْكَلَامِ، فَأَمْسَكَ عَنْ أَنْ يَقُولَ: الْقُرْآنُ لَيْسَ بِمَخْلُوقٍ، فَهُوَ جَهْمِيٌّ "
