1790 - Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Jami' al-Razi informed me, saying: I heard Muhammad ibn Muslim say that it was said to Abu Abd Allah: 'And what about the Waqifah (those who withhold judgment on the Quran)?' He replied: 'As for the one who does not understand, he is to be instructed; but if he understands and perceives the discourse, then he is just like them.' He added: 'And the Quran, in whatever way you describe the speech of Allah, it is not created.'
١٧٩٠ - وَأَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ جَامِعٍ الرَّازِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ مُسْلِمٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قِيلَ لَهُ: فَالْوَاقِفَةُ؟ قَالَ: " أَمَّا مَنْ كَانَ لَا يَعْقِلُ، فَإِنَّهُ يُبَصَّرُ، وَإِنْ كَانَ يَعْقِلُ وَيُبْصِرُ الْكَلَامَ، فَهُوَ مِثْلُهُمْ. قَالَ: وَالْقُرْآنُ حَيْثُ مَا تَصْرِفُ كَلَامُ اللَّهِ غَيْرُ مَخْلُوقٍ
