1822 - Abu Bakr al-Marrudhi informed us, saying: I mentioned to Abu 'Abd Allah a man from the hadith scholars who had questioned him, and he refrained from answering. He said: "He came to me, but I did not grant him permission, and I did not go out to him."
١٨٢٢ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْمَرُّوذِيُّ، قَالَ: ذَكَرْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْمُحَدِّثِينَ سَأَلُوهُ، فَوَقَفَ، قَالَ: «قَدْ جَاءَنِي فَلَمْ آذَنْ لَهُ، وَلَمْ أَخْرُجْ إِلَيْهِ»
