106 - 'Abd Allāh narrated to us, saying: Abū Zakarīyā al-Khath'amī recited to me:

May no blessing come to your miserable time, which places the tails above the heads!

If I am, in your view, a liar in what I say, then whenever you pass by a gathering or assembly,

cast your gaze: do you see any leader to whom the discernment of the insightful looks up?

Or do you see among its people anyone who buys a noble deed for glory with five copper coins?

O Lord, if the miser is preoccupied with my fault, then transfer his preoccupation to a bankrupt neighbor!
