مِنْ وَصَايَا الصَّحَابَةِ وَالتَّابِعِينَ١٧٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، ثَنا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُنَيْسٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ أَبِي دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِسَلْمَانَ ﵁: أَوْصِنِي. قَالَ: " لا تُخَالِطِ النَّاسَ "، قَالَ: وَكَيْفَ يَعِيشُ مَعَ النَّاسِ مَنْ لا يُخَالِطُهُمْ؟ قَالَ: " فَإِنْ كَانَ وَلا بُدَّ مِنْ مُخَالَطَتِهِمْ فَاصْدُقِ الْحَدِيثَ، وَأَدِّ الأَمَانَةَ " (١) .
