195 - ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us: Muḥammad ibn ʿAmr ibn ʿĪsā al-ʿUbrī narrated to me, saying: I used to hear my grandfather in the pre-dawn hours weeping and saying: "False hopes sway me, while His intimate friend Ibrāhīm, peace be upon him, says: {And Who, I hope, will forgive me my fault on the Day of Recompense} [Sūrat al-Shuʿarāʾ, āyah 82]," he said: and he would weep.
