45 - Muḥammad narrated to me, he said: Bishr ibn Muṣliḥ al-ʿAtakī narrated to me, he said: ʿAṭāʾ ibn Muslim al-Khaffāf narrated to me, he said: Sufyān said to me: "O ʿAṭāʾ! Beware of people, and beware of me. For if I disagreed with a man concerning a pomegranate—he saying it is sour while I say it is sweet, or he saying it is sweet while I say it is sour—I would fear that he might seek to shed my blood."
