70 - ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us: Abū Khaythama narrated to us: Yaḥyā ibn Saʿīd narrated to us: Ḥabīb ibn Shihāb narrated to us: My father narrated to us, he said: I heard Ibn ʿAbbās say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said on the day he delivered a sermon at Tabūk:
"There is no one among the people like a man who holds the reins of his horse, engaging in Struggle (Jihad) in the cause of Allah, and avoiding the evils of the people; and like a man living in the desert with his sheep, hosting his guest and paying his due."
