nor does He have a place (1):
then he has apostatized from the religion of Islam, joined the polytheists, and disbelieved in God, His signs, and what His Messenger, peace and blessings of God be upon him, brought; highly exalted is God above what our opponents say.
And God has said: {There is nothing like unto Him} [al-Shūrā: 11]: meaning there is no essence like His essence, nor attributes like His attributes.
Then He affirmed the attribute for Himself without anthropomorphism, and negated anthropomorphism without divestment (2).
'Where?'), and (He is not spatially bound). How they clothed the realities of His names and attributes, His highness over His creation, His establishment over His Throne, His speaking to His creation, and their seeing Him with their eyes in the abode of His honor, with these terms! Then they used them as a means to negate them, and they declared as disbelievers and misguided those who affirmed them. They deemed permissible against them what they did not deem permissible against the enemies of God among the Jews and Christians. To God is the appointed time, to Him is the refuge, to Him is the judgment, and before Him is the dispute.
We and they shall die, and the one who regrets shall not succeed on the Day of Reckoning." End quote.
