Zurʿa al-Laftawānī ʿUbayd Allāh bin Muḥammad bin Shujāʿ - in what he wrote to us from Iṣbahān -.
And Abū al-Rabīʿ Sulaymān bin Ibrāhīm bin Hibat Allāh al-Asʿardī narrated to us, the Ḥāfiẓ Abū Muḥammad ʿAbd al-Ghanī bin ʿAbd al-Wāḥid al-Maqdisī informed us, Abū Bakr Muḥammad bin Abī Naṣr al-Qāsānī and Abū al-Ṭayyib al-Laftawānī Muḥammad bin Muḥammad bin Shujāʿ informed us, they said: Abū ʿAbd Allāh al-Ḥusayn bin ʿAbd Allāh al-Khallāl narrated to us, Abū al-Muẓaffar ʿAbd Allāh bin Shabīb the reciter informed us, Abū ʿUmar ʿAbd Allāh bin Muḥammad bin ʿAbd al-Wahhāb informed us.
The Ḥāfiẓ ʿAbd al-Ghanī said: And Abū al-Ghanāʾim al-Turk Maḥmūd bin Aḥmad al-Iṣbahānī informed us - therein -, Abū Ṭāhir al-Khiḍr bin (al-Faḍl) (1) al-Ṣaffār informed us, Abū ʿUmar ʿAbd al-Wahhāb son of the Ḥāfiẓ Abū ʿAbd Allāh bin Mandah informed us, my father informed us - reading to him - and Abū ʿUmar (ʿAbd Allāh bin Muḥammad bin) (2) ʿAbd al-Wahhāb - by license (ijāza) - they both said: Abū al-Ḥasan Aḥmad [21/B] bin Muḥammad bin ʿUmar bin Abān al-ʿAbdī al-Linbānī informed us, Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ʿAbd Allāh bin Aḥmad bin Ḥanbal narrated to us, he said:
My father was asked about what is narrated regarding the Footstool (al-Kursī), and the sitting of the Lord upon it, majestic is His praise.
I saw my father, may God be pleased with him, authenticate these hadiths: the hadiths of the Vision (al-Ruʾya), and he adopted them, and he gathered them in a book, and he narrated them to us, may God be pleased with him (3).
41- And by it, he said: My father narrated to me, ʿAbd al-Ṣamad bin ʿAbd al-Wārith narrated to us, my father narrated to us, Muḥammad bin Juḥāda narrated to us, from Salama bin Kuhayl, from ʿUmāra bin ʿUmayr, from Abū Mūsā [may God be pleased with him],
