11- Al-Karajī al-Qaṣṣāb, may Allah have mercy on him, in his Tafsir Nukat al-Qurʾān (4/86).

12- Al-Qāḍī Abū Yaʿlā said: "Know that it is not impossible to take the report upon its apparent meaning, that His heaviness occurs by the Essence of the Most Merciful, since that is not something that renders His attributes impossible..." [Bayān Talbīs al-Jahmiyya (1/574)].

13- Ibn Taymiyya, may Allah have mercy on him, said in Bayān Talbīs al-Jahmiyya (3/268) while speaking about the aforementioned report of Kaʿb al-Aḥbār: "And this report, even if it is the narration of Kaʿb, it is possible that it is from the knowledge of the People of the Book, and it is possible that it is from what he received from the Companions,
