And among the Hadith masters who narrated it are: ʿAbd Allāh bin al-Imām Aḥmad bin Ḥanbal, Abū Bakr Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim, and Abū al-Qāsim al-Ṭabarānī.
And Abū ʿAbd Allāh bin Mandah and Abū Nuʿaym cited it in "Maʿrifat al-Ṣaḥāba".
And it was narrated from Shaddād bin Aws [May God be pleased with him] - as well - as Marfu'.
And it was narrated from ʿAbd Allāh bin ʿAbbās and Kaʿb bin ʿUjra [May God be pleased with them] as Mawquf. And from Kaʿb al-Aḥbār - as well -.
And it was narrated from ʿAbd Allāh bin Masʿūd [May God be pleased with him] regarding the statement of God Almighty: {The Most Merciful rose over the Throne} [Ṭā-Hā: 5], with this meaning.
And the narrators of this hadith from the route of Qatāda and Shaddād [May God be pleased with them both], most of them are from the narrators of the Sahih (Authentic) (1).
It is narrated by Ibrāhīm al-Ḥizāmī, from Muḥammad b. Fulayḥ, from his father, from Saʿīd b. al-Ḥārith, from ʿUbayd b. Ḥunayn, with it.
a. Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim in Al-Sunna (580), and by way of him Abū Nuʿaym in Al-Maʿrifa (5752), and Ibn Mandah in Al-Maʿrifa (2/132/1 as in the referencing of Al-Sunna by Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim); however, "Fulayḥ b. Sulaymān" was dropped from the chain of transmission, and the correct view is to establish it.
