Al-Dashtī.
The hadith of Jābir b. ʿAbd Allāh, may God be pleased with them both, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: "None of you should lie on his back and then place one of his legs over the other." Muslim narrated it (2099).
The hadith of Abū Hurayra, may God be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, forbade a man from crossing one of his legs over the other.
Al-Ṭaḥāwī narrated it in Sharḥ al-Maʿānī (4/277), and Ibn Ḥibbān in his Ṣaḥīḥ (5554).
The hadith of Shaddād b. Aws, may God be pleased with him, as preceded.
The report of Ibn ʿAbbās, may God be pleased with them both, which Ibn Abī Shayba narrated in his Muṣannaf (5572) and (5573) with his chain of transmission from Ismāʿīl b. Rāshid, who said: I lay on my back and raised one of my legs onto my knee, so Saʿīd threw pebbles at me, then said: "Indeed, Ibn ʿAbbās, may God be pleased with them both, used to forbid this."
The hadith of Kaʿb b. ʿUjra, may God be pleased with him.
Ibn Abī Shayba narrated it (5574), as did Khushaysh b. Aṣram, and al-Ḥakam b. Maʿbad narrated it, as Ibn al-Muḥibb mentioned in Al-Ṣifāt (1/241a), Ibn Akhī Mīmī in his Fawāʾid (p. 44 / no. 32), al-Ṭaḥāwī in Sharḥ al-Maʿānī (6881), and Ibn al-Muḥibb in Al-Ṣifāt (1/241a). Its chain of transmission is Sahih (Authentic), and it holds the ruling of being Marfu' (Hadith attributed to the Prophet).
Its wording is: From Abū Wāʾil, who said: Al-Ashʿath, Jarīr b. ʿAbd Allāh, and Kaʿb were sitting, and al-Ashʿath raised one of his legs over the other while sitting.
So Kaʿb b. ʿUjra said to him: "Put it down, for it is not fitting for a human."
Isḥāq b. Rāhawayh narrated it with the meaning of the hadith of Qatāda b. al-Nuʿmān, may God be pleased with him.
Ibn al-Muḥibb mentioned it in Al-Ṣifāt (1/237b).

* ومما يشهد لهذا الحديث:
١- حديث جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله عنهما قال: قال ﷺ: «لا يستلقِيَنَّ أحَدُكُم ثم يَضَعُ إحدى رِجلَيْهِ على الأُخْرى». رواه مسلم (٢٠٩٩).
٢- حديث أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أن النبي ﷺ نهى أن يثني الرجل إحدى رجليه على الأخرى.
رواه الطحاوي في «شرح المعاني» (٤ / ٢٧٧)، وابن حبان في «صحيحه» (٥٥٥٤).
٣- حديث شداد بن أوس رضي الله عنه، كما تقدم.
٤- أثر ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما الذي رواه ابن أبي شيبة في «مصنفه» (٥٥٧٢) و(٥٥٧٣) بإسناده عن إسماعيل بن راشد، قال: استلقيت فرفعت إحدى رجلي على ركبتي، فرماني سعيد بحصيات، ثم قال: إن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما كان ينهى عن هذا.
٥- حديث كعب بن عُجْرَةَ رضي الله عنه.
رواه ابن أبي شيبة (٥٥٧٤)، وخشيش بن أصرم، ورواه الحكم بن معبد، كما ذكره ابن المحب في «الصِّفات» (١ / ٢٤١ / أ)، وابن أخي ميمي في «فوائده» (ص ٤٤ / رقم ٣٢)، والطحاوي في «شرح المعاني» (٦٨٨١)، وابن المحب في «الصِّفات» (١ / ٢٤١ / أ). وإسناده صحيح، وله حكم الرفع.
ولفظه: عن أبي وائل، قال: كان الأشْعَثُ، وجرير بنُ عبد الله، وكعبٌ قعودًا، فرفع الأشْعَثُ إحدى رجليه على الأُخرى وهو قاعدٌ.
فقال له كعب بن عجرة: ضعها، فإنه لا يصلحُ لبشرٍ.
٦- حديث عبد الله بن مسعود رضي الله عنه، وقد مضى.
ورواه إسحاق بن راهويه بمعنى حديث قتادة بن النعمان رضي الله عنه.
