Distinct from His creation, while all of the creation
Are below Him; above them is the Lord of all beings.
After the night steals away, He descends from
A Glorious Throne to the green [heaven] in His Essence. [28/a]
He says: 'Is there any seeker to be given? And is there anyone
Supplicating, that he may be freed from the bondage of transgressions?'
Until the breathing of the morning light, then He ascended
His Pedestal (Kursi); Exalted is He, the High, the One who comes. (1)
