Regarding the statement of Ibn al-Mubarak (may Allah have mercy on him) on page 297 concerning the affirmation of the boundary (hadd), he said: "Ibn al-Mubarak never intended an evil meaning, for he is among the Imams of the Salaf (may Allah have mercy on them). His intent by 'boundary' (hadd) is the reality—meaning, that it is a rising over the Throne in reality." End quote.
