عن مجاهد، عن ابن أبي ليلى، عن أبيّ بن كعب، عن النبي ﷺ، بنحوه (١) .٣٨- حدثني يونس بن عبد الأعلى، قال: أخبرنا ابن وهب، قال: أخبرني هشام بن سعد، عن عبيد الله بن عمر، عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي ليلى، عن أبيّ بن كعب أنه قال: سمعتُ رجلا يقرأ في سورة النحل قراءةً تخالِفُ قراءتي، ثم سمعت آخر يقرؤها قراءةً تخالف ذلك، فانطلقتُ بهما إلى رسول الله ﷺ، فقلت: إني سمعت هذين يقرآن في سورة النحل، فسألتُهما: من أقرأهما؟ فقالا رسول الله ﷺ. فقلت: لأذهبن بكما إلى رسول الله ﷺ، إذ خالفتما ما أقرأني رسول الله ﷺ. فقال رسول الله ﷺ لأحدهما: اقرأ. فقرأ، فقال: أحسنتَ. ثم قال للآخر: اقرأ. فقرأ، فقال: أحسنتَ. قال أبيّ: فوجدتُ في نفسي وسوسة الشيطان، حتى احمرّ وجهي، فعرف ذلك رسول الله ﷺ في وجهي، فضرب بيده في صدري، ثم قال: اللهمّ أخْسئ الشيطانَ عنه! يا أبيّ، أتاني آتٍ من ربي فقال: إن الله يأمرك أن تقرأ القرآن على حرفٍ واحدٍ. فقلت: ربِّ خفف عني. ثم أتاني الثانية فقال: إن الله يأمرك أن تقرأ القرآن على حرف واحد. فقلت: رب خفف عن أمتي. ثم أتاني الثالثة فقال مثل ذلك، وقلت مثله. ثم أتاني الرابعة فقال: إن الله يأمرك أن تقرأ القرآنَ على سبعة أحرف، ولك بكل رَدّة مسألة. فقلت: يا رب اغفر لأمتي، يا رب اغفر لأمتي. واختبأتُ الثالثة شفاعةً لأمتي يوم القيامة (٢) .
