249 - Muhammad ibn Shu'ayb said: Sa'id ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz informed me that a menstruating woman and one in a state of janabah are granted a concession regarding these two verses: upon mounting: {Exalted is He who has subjected this to us, and we could not have [otherwise] subdued it} [43:13], and upon dismounting: {My Lord, let me land at a blessed landing place, and You are the best to accommodate [us]} [23:29].
Chapter: A Person in a State of Janabah Writing Hadith and the Qur'an
• Ahmad was asked about a person in a state of janabah writing hadith and [other] writing? He said: "I hope there is no harm in it, as long as it is not the Qur'an," as if he disliked that one should write the Qur'an.
250 - 'Amr ibn 'Uthman narrated to us, saying: al-Firyabi narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Layth, from Mujahid, that he disliked writing {In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful} while in a state of janabah.
Chapter: Touching Silver Dirhams Without Wudu'
• I heard Ishaq say: "It is disliked that you touch a silver dirham while you do not have wudu', but you may touch it from behind a garment if you wish."
He said: "And there is no harm in wearing a money belt (himyan) containing silver dirhams, and going to the restroom while it is with you; people have no choice but to carry their expenditures, as 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz has [also] stated."
٢٤٩ - قال محمد بن شُعَيب: وأخبرني سَعيد بن عبد العَزيز، أن الحائض والجُنُب يُرَخَّص لهما في هاتَين الآيَتَين: عند الركوب: {سبحان الذي سخر لنا هذا وما كنا له مقرنين}، وعند النُّزول: {رب أنزلني منزلا مباركًا وأنت خير المنزلين}.
باب: الجُنُب يَكتُب الحَديثَ والقُرآن
• سُئل أحمَد عن الجُنُب يَكتُب الحديث والكِتاب؟ قال: «أرجو ألَّا يَكون به بأس ما لم يَكُن قُرآن»، كَأنه كَرِهَ أن يَكتُب القُرآن.
٢٥٠ - حدثنا عَمرو بن عُثمان، قال: ثنا الفريابي، عن سُفيان، عن ليث، عن مُجاهد، أنه كَرِه أن يَكتُب {بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم} وهو جُنُب.
باب: مَسِّ الدِّرهَم الأَبيَض على غَير وضوء
• سمعت إسحاق يقول: «يُكرَه أن تَمَسَّ الدِّرهَم الأبيَض وأنت على غَير وضوء، ولكن تَمَسُّه من وَراء الثَّوب إن شِئت».
قال: «ولا بأس أن يَكون عَلَيك الهِمْيان فيه الدَّراهم البيض، فَتَأتي الخلاء وهو معك؛ لا بُدَّ للناس من نَفَقاتهم، قد قالَه عُمَر بن عبد العَزيز».
