331 - Mahmud ibn Khalid narrated to us, saying: Al-Walid ibn Muslim narrated to us, saying: It was said to al-Awza'i: The time for the noon prayer arrived, so he performed Tayammum. Then he did not find water until the time for the afternoon prayer arrived. Would his first Tayammum for the noon prayer suffice for him, provided he did not commit a ritual impurity in between? And he informed [1] that he asked Rabi'ah and Yahya ibn Sa'id about that. They both said: "We are of the opinion that he should perform Tayammum for every prayer."
332 - Al-Walid said: I mentioned it to Malik ibn Anas, and he said the same.
333 - Muhammad ibn Nasr narrated to us, saying: Hassan narrated to us, saying: "Tayammum in the view of Sufyan is like Wudu'." Sufyan said: "And among the people are those who say: Indeed, he should perform Tayammum for every prayer."
334 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, he narrated: 'Abd al-A'la, from Hisham ibn Hassan, from al-Hasan, who said: "Tayammum is like Wudu'; he may pray with it as long as he does not commit a ritual impurity. It is merely in the position of river water. And if he performs Tayammum and prays, then finds water, his prayer has already passed [and is valid]."
335 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, saying: Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, saying: Isra'il informed us, from Ibn 'Umar [2], from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: "Tayammum is in the position of Wudu'; he may pray all the prayers with it as long as he does not commit a ritual impurity."

٣٣١ - حدثنا مَحمود بن خالِد، قال: ثنا الوَليد بن مُسلِم، قال: قيل للأوزاعي: حَضَرَت صلاة الظهر، فَتَيمَّم، ثم لم يَجِد ماء حتى حَضَرَته صلاة العصر، أَيكفيه تَيمُّمُه الأوَّل للظهر، ولم يُحدِث فيما بَينهما؟ وأخبر (١) أنه سأل رَبيعة ويَحيى بنَ سَعيد عن ذلك؟ فقالا: «نَرَى أن يَتيَمَّم لكُلِّ صلاة».
٣٣٢ - قال الوَليد: فذَكَرته لمالك بن أنس، فقال مِثل ذلك.
٣٣٣ - حدثنا محمد بن نصر، قال: ثنا حَسَّان، قال: «التَّيمُّم عند سُفيان بِمَنزِلة الوضوء، قال سُفيان: «ومن الناس مَن يَقول: إنه يَتيَمَّم لكُلِّ صلاة»».
٣٣٤ - حدثنا محمد بن يَحيى، ثنا عبد الأعلى، عن هِشام بن حَسَّان، عن الحسَن، قال: «التَّيمُّم مِثل الوضوء، يُصَلِّي به ما لم يُحدِث، إنما هو بِمَنزِلَة ماء النَّهر، وإذا تَيمَّم وصَلَّى ثم وَجَدَ الماء؛ فقد مَضَت صلاته».
٣٣٥ - حدثنا محمد بن يَحيى، قال: ثنا يَزيد بن هارون، قال: أبنا إسرائيل، عن ابن عمر (٢)، عن عِكرِمَة، عن ابن عَبَّاس، قال: «التَّيمُّم بِمَنزِلَة الوضوء، يُصَلِّي به الصَّلَوات كُلَّها ما لم يُحدِث».
