29 - 'Amr ibn 'Uthman narrated to us, saying: al-Walid ibn Muslim narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Rahman... '...it has touched it, then wash the entire garment. If you are in doubt as to whether it touched the garment or not, then sprinkle your garment with water.'
30 - Al-Walid said: This is the opinion of al-Awza'i, and it is the view he used to adopt.
31 - Muhammad ibn al-Wazir narrated to us, saying: al-Walid narrated to us: Abu 'Amr al-Awza'i said regarding janaba when it is on wool: 'Rubbing it suffices instead of washing it, and if it is on... [otherwise], then it must be washed.'
Chapter: Madhy (Prostatic Fluid)
I saw Ishaq being strict regarding madhy if it touches a garment, and he said: 'If he does not know its location, he washes the entire garment.'

٣١ - حدثنا محمد بن الوَزير، قال: ثنا الوَليد: قال أبو عَمرو الأوزاعي -في الجَنابَة إذا كانت في صوف-: «أجزأك فَركُها من غَسلِه، وإذا كانت في ......... (٢) فلا بُدَّ مِن غَسله».
باب: المَذْي
• ورأيت إسحاق يُشَدِّد في المَذْي إذا أصاب الثَّوب، وقال: «إذا لم يَعرِف مَكانَه؛ ⦗٦٩⦘ غَسَلَ الثَّوبَ كُلَّه».
(١) بيض الناسخ مقدار كلمتين، وضبب على البياض.(٢) مقدار كلمتين غير ظاهرتين، ولعلها: "غير صوف"، أو نحوها.
