His obligatory [duty] and his concession (rukhsa) only increase him in purity."
355 - Mahmud ibn Khalid narrated to us, saying: Al-Walid narrated to us, saying: It was said to Abu 'Amr: Does the one who performed tayammum lead his companions while they are not in a state of wudu? He said: I asked Al-Zuhri about that, and he said: "I hope that this is permissible."
Chapter: If a sick person is unable to perform wudu, does he perform tayammum?
• I said to Ahmad: Does the person suffering from smallpox perform tayammum? He said: "Yes, he performs tayammum."

He said: "The person with stomach illness and others should perform tayammum." I said: Should someone who is with him assist him in performing tayammum? He said: "Yes."
