388 - Yahya ibn 'Abd al-Hamid narrated to us, saying: Sharik narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Aswad, from 'A'ishah, Mother of the Believers: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would not perform wudu after ghusl.
Chapter: Disliking the Income of the Bathhouse
• I heard Ishaq expressing dislike for the income of the bathhouse.
389 - 'Ali ibn 'Uthman narrated to us, saying: 'Abdullah ibn Bujayr narrated to us, from Sa'd al-Shami, who said: Abu al-Darda' entered the bathhouse and relieved himself, then he put on his cloak when he exited the bathhouse and said: "An excellent price for two fils is this."
Chapter: Prayer in the Changing Area of the Bathhouse
• I asked Ishaq about praying in the changing area (maslakh) of the bathhouse? He said: "There is no harm in praying in the changing area."
390 - 'Amr ibn 'Uthman narrated to us, saying: Al-Walid ibn Muslim narrated to us, from al-Awza'i, who said: "A man should not pray in the bathhouse." I said: "What about on its roof?" He said: "Its roof is part of it, and [he should not pray] in graveyards nor upon a grave."
391 - 'Abbas ibn 'Abd al-'Azim narrated to us, saying: 'Abdullah ibn Yazid narrated to us, saying: Yahya ibn Ayyub narrated to us, from Zayd ibn Jabirah, from Dawud ibn Husayn, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade prayer in seven places: the dung heap, the slaughterhouse, the graveyard, the middle of the road, the bathhouse, the watering places of camels, and upon the roof of the House of Allah (the Ka'bah)."
