It was said: What if a man lays a garment over it and prays? He did not like that and argued with the Hadith of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, regarding the Bedouin who urinated in the mosque, where he said: "Pour water over it."
And the position of Ahmad is: that water should be poured over the ground.
And I asked Ishaq ibn Ibrahim, I said: A man prayed on ground that is not pure? He said: "If he knows that it has been struck by urine, he should not pray."
And I asked Ishaq - another time - I said: A man prayed on ground that is not pure? He said: "He must repeat it." I said: What if he spreads a garment over it? He said: "It is permissible."
48 - Sa'id ibn Mansur narrated to us, saying: Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Malik ibn al-Harith, from his father, from Abu Musa al-Ash'ari - may Allah be pleased with him - that he prayed in the post road (sikkah al-barid) on dung and straw, while the open field was next to him. It was said to him: The open field is next to you? He said: "This and that are equal."
• وقيل لأحمَد -مرةً أخرى-: الحديث الذي يُروَى؛ قال: «ذَكَاة الأرض يُبْسُها»؟ قال: «لا أدري كَيفَ هذا، لَو أن بَولًا في الأرض، فيَبِسَ، وطَلَعَت عَلَيه الشَّمس؛ لم يَطهُر».
قيل: فإن ألقى رَجلٌ عَلَيه ثوبًا، وصَلَّى؟ فلم يُعجِبه، واحتَجَّ بِحَديث النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في الأعرابي الذي بَال في المسجِد، فقال: «صُبُّوا عَلَيه ماءً».
o ومَذهَب أحمد: أن يصبَّ على الأرض الماء.
• وسألت إسحاق بن إبراهيم، قلت: رجلٌ صَلَّى على أرضٍ لَيسَت بِطاهِرة؟ قال: «إن عَلِمَ أنه قَد أصابَها بَولٌ؛ فلا يُصَلِّي».
• وسألت إسحاق -مرةً أخرى-، قلت: رَجلٌ صَلَّى على أرضٍ لَيسَت طاهِرة؟ قال: «عَلَيه الإعادَة». قلت: فإن بَسَطَ عَلَيه ثَوبًا؟ قال: «جائز».
٤٨ - حدثنا سَعيد بن مَنصور، قال: ثنا أبو مُعاويَة، عن الأعمَش، عن مالِك ⦗٧٥⦘ ابن الحارِث، عن أبيه، عن أبي موسَى الأشعَري -رضي الله عنه-، أنه صَلَّى في سِكَّة البَريد على الرَّوث والتّبن، والبريَّة إلى جانِبه. قيل له: إن البريَّة إلى جانِبك؟ قال: «هذا وذاك سَواء».
