537 - Abu Umar Hafs ibn Umar narrated to us, he said: Yazid ibn Zuray' and Isma'il ibn 'Ulayyah narrated to us, from al-Jald ibn Ayyub, from Mu'awiyah ibn Qurrah, he said: I asked Anas ibn Malik about the menses of a menstruating woman? He said: "Three, or four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, or ten; then she attains purity and prays, and whatever is beyond that, she is a woman suffering from istihaḍah."
(1) Thus in the original, and the correct form is: "hadith", and it is possible that the correct reading is: "hatta sahhaha lahum hadithan" (until he authenticated a hadith for them).
