576 - Muhammad narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to us, from Sufyan, who said: "She shall perform the prayers she missed after the days of her period, then she performs ghusl and uses a pad (ihtasha), and her husband may approach her. She does not sit [in abstinence] for ten days except in the first instance when the blood becomes continuous, until she knows that she is a mustahada."
577 - Abu 'Amr 'Imran ibn Yazid ibn Khalid narrated to us, saying: Isma'il ibn 'Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: Al-Awza'i was asked about a woman who stays in her menses for seven [days], but then sees purity at five days? He said: "She performs ghusl and prays." It was said: [What if] she stays in her menses for seven days, then sees blood after the seven? He said: "If she wishes, she may exercise precaution (istazharat) by one day, then perform ghusl and pray."
578 - Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Abi Hazm narrated to us, saying: Hajjaj narrated to us, saying: Abu 'Aqil narrated to us, from Buhayyah, who said: I heard a woman asking 'A'isha about a woman whose menses had become irregular, such that she did not know how much to pray. 'A'isha said to her: "I asked the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) about a woman whose menses had become irregular, and she was hemorrhaging blood, and she did not know how much to pray." She [A'isha] said: "The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) commanded me to order her to look at the amount she used to menstruate each month when her menses was regular; then she should count that amount of nights and days, and leave the prayer during them and according to their duration. Then she should perform ghusl, purify herself thoroughly, then secure herself with a cloth (istazfar), then pray. For I hope that this is from Satan, and that Allah will remove it from her—if He wills." She [A'isha] said: "So I ordered her, and she did it, and Allah removed it from her. So order your companion to do this."
٥٧٦ - قال محمد: حدثنا أبي، عن سُفيان، قال: «تُصَلِّي ما تَرَكَت من بَعد أيام حَيضِها، ثم تَغتَسِل وتَحتَشي، ويأتيها زَوجها، ولا تَجلِس العَشرَة أيام إلا في أَوَّل ما يَستَمِرُّ بها الدم، حتى تَعلَم أنها مُستَحاضَة».
٥٧٧ - حدثنا أبو عَمرو عِمران بن يَزيد بن خالِد، قال: ثنا إسماعيل بن عبد الله، قال: سُئل الأوزاعي عن المرأة تَمكُث في حَيضها سَبعًا، فتَرَى الطُّهر في خَمسَة أيام؟ قال: «تَغتَسِل وتُصَلِّي». قيل: فتَمكُث في حَيضِها سَبعَة أيام، ثم تَرَى بَعد السَّبعَة دَمًا. قال: «إن شاءت استَظهَرَت بِيَوم، ثم تَغتَسِل وتُصَلِّي».
٥٧٨ - حدثنا محمد بن يَحيى بن أبي حَزم، قال: ثنا حجاج، قال: ثنا أبو عقيل، عن بُهَيَّة، قالت: سمعت امرأةً تَسأل عائشَة لامرأةٍ فَسَدَ حَيضُها، فلا تَدري كَم تُصَلِّي، فقالت لها عائشَة: «سَأَلت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لامرأةٍ فَسَدَ حَيضُها، وأهريقت دَمًا، لا تَدري كَم تُصَلِّي»، فقالت: «فأَمَرَني رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أن آمُرها فَلتَنظُر قَدر ما كانت تَحيض في كل شَهر وحَيضُها مُستَقيم؛ فَلتَعتَدَّ بِقَدر ذلك من الليالي والأيام، ثم لتَدَع الصَّلاة فيهِنَّ وبِقَدرهِنّ، ثم لتَغتَسِل وتُحسِن طُهرَها، ثم تَستَذفر بِثَوب، ثم تُصَلِّي، فإني أَرجو أن يَكون هذا من الشَّيطان، وأن يُذهِبه الله عنها -إن شاء الله-»، قالت: «فأَمَرتها، ففَعَلَت، فأَذهَبَه الله عنها، فَمُري صاحِبَتك بِهذا».
