587 - Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, saying: Waki' informed us, from al-A'mash, from al-Minhal, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, who said: I was with Ibn 'Abbas when a woman came to him with a letter. Sa'id said: She read it: "I am a woman experiencing istihada, and 'Ali said: 'She should perform ghusl for every prayer'." Sa'id said: Ibn 'Abbas replied: "I do not hold for her anything other than what 'Ali said."
588 - Abu 'Abd Allah Ahmad ibn Hanbal narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, saying: Shu'bah narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Qasim, from his father, from 'A'ishah, that a woman experiencing istihada asked during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and it was said to her: "It is only a vein (anid)," and she was commanded to delay the Zhuhr and hasten the 'Asr, and perform one ghusl for them, and to delay the Maghrib and hasten the 'Isha', and perform one ghusl for them, and to perform one ghusl for the Fajr prayer.
589 - Ishaq narrated to us, saying: Jarir informed us, from 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Rufay', from 'Ata' ibn Abi Rabah, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: "The woman experiencing istihada should delay the Zhuhr, hasten the 'Asr, and combine them with one ghusl; she should delay the Maghrib, hasten the 'Isha', then pray them with one ghusl, then perform one ghusl for the Fajr."
(1) Thus it is in the original, dotted, and it is possible that it reads: "ajidu". (2) It is likely that "'irq" was omitted here.
