Chapter: A woman who sees blood outside the days of her menstruation
I said to Ahmad: A woman sees blood outside the days of her menstruation, then it ceases; does she perform ghusl? He said: "She performs wudu'."
I asked Ishaq, and I said: A woman sees blood outside the days of her menstruation, then it ceases; does she perform ghusl when the blood ceases or wudu'? He said: "Outside the days of menstruation?" I said: "Yes." He said: "She performs wudu'." I said: "What if it is black blood?" He said: "This is not menstruation if it is not during the days of her menstruation."
614 - 'Amr ibn 'Uthman narrated to us, saying: al-Walid ibn Muslim narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Rashid, from Sulayman ibn Musa, from 'Ata' ibn Abi Rabah, from 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her), who said: "If she sees yellow or brownish discharge after the ghusl, she performs wudu' and prays; but if it is red blood, she performs ghusl and prays."
615 - Shabab narrated to us, saying: Mu'adh ibn Hisham narrated to us, from his father, from Qatadah, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib - regarding a woman who sees brownish or yellow discharge, meaning: after purity - he said: "She performs ghusl and prays."
(1) Thus it appears in the original, and perhaps the correct reading is the deletion of "the blood" (al-dam) or the deletion of his saying: "blood" (daman) following it.
