648 - Sa'id ibn Mansur narrated to us, saying: Hushaym narrated to us, saying: Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad informed us, from Miqsam, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: "If a woman becomes pure before the setting of the sun, she performs the Dhuhr and the 'Asr [prayers], and if she becomes pure at night, she performs the Maghrib and the 'Isha' [prayers]."
649 - Muhammad ibn al-Wazir narrated to us, saying: Marwan ibn Muhammad narrated to us, saying: Ibn 'Ayyash narrated to us, from Layth ibn Abi Sulaym, from Tawus, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: "If the menstruating woman becomes pure before the setting of the sun, she performs the Dhuhr and the 'Asr [prayers], and if she sees purity before the dawn rises, she performs the Maghrib and the 'Isha' [prayers]."
650 - Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, saying: Al-Nadr ibn Shumayl informed us, saying: Hammad ibn Salamah informed us, from Qays, from 'Ata', from Abu Hurayrah—may Allah be pleased with him—who said: "If a woman becomes pure from her menses and catches two rak'ahs, then performs the 'Asr [prayer] before the sun sets, she performs both the Dhuhr and the 'Asr; and if she becomes pure before the dawn rises, she performs both the Maghrib and the 'Isha'."
651 - Ishaq narrated to us, saying: Jarir ibn 'Abd al-Hamid informed us, from Mughirah, from Ibrahim, who said: "If the menstruating woman becomes pure at any time during the 'Asr [prayer period], she performs the Dhuhr and the 'Asr. If she becomes pure at any time during the 'Isha' [prayer period], she performs the Maghrib and the 'Isha'. Likewise, if she becomes pure while there remains something of the sun, or there remains something of the night, she performs the two prayers. If she does not finish her ghusl until the dawn breaks, she performs the Fajr [prayer]. And if she sees purity after the dawn has broken, she performs the Fajr [prayer] between that time and the rising of the sun; but if the sun rises before she begins her prayer, she does not perform it, and she resumes the prayers thereafter."
