Chapter: The Pregnant Woman Who Sees Blood During Her Pregnancy
• I asked Ahmad, saying: "Does the pregnant woman see blood during her pregnancy?" He said: "It is nothing." I asked: "If she sees it during her days of menstruation or other than her days of menstruation while she is pregnant, is it the same?" He said: "Yes."
• And I heard Ahmad once again say: "There is no menstruation during pregnancy. If it were so, the waiting period (idda), the pregnancy, and the menstruation would not be distinguishable," and he disapproved of that.
• And I heard Ahmad once again say: "The people of Medina say: 'The pregnant woman menstruates.'" Ahmad said: "There is no menstruation during pregnancy."
678 - Abu al-Azhar narrated to us, saying: Abu al-Mughirah narrated to us, from al-Awza'i regarding the pregnant woman who sees blood: He said: "If the pregnant woman sees yellowish discharge, she performs ablution (wudu') and prays. If she sees fresh blood, she performs ghusl."
679 - Ishaq narrated to us, saying: Jarir informed us, from Layth, from al-Sha'bi, who said: "If the pregnant woman sees fresh blood, she performs ghusl and prays. If it is thin/watery, she performs ablution and prays."
680 - Muhammad ibn al-Wazir narrated to us, saying: al-Walid ibn Muslim narrated to us, saying: Abu Ghunaym narrated to us, from Nasih, who said regarding the pregnant woman who sees blood and is not estranged (la-yusata bi-al-farik): "She shall perform ghusl between the time of Dhuhr and 'Asr, then pray. If she sees yellowish or brownish discharge, she washes her private part, then performs ablution and prays."

باب: الحَامِل تَرَى الدَّمَ على حَملِها
• سألت أحمَد، قلت: الحامِل تَرَى الدم على حَملها؟ قال: «لَيسَ بشيء». قلت: إن رَأَته في أيام حَيضها وغَير أيام حَيضها إذا كانَت حاملًا فهو واحِد؟ قال: «نعم».
• وسمعت أحمَد -مرةً أخرى- يقول: «لا يكون حَيضٌ على حَمل، ولو كان كذلك ما عُرِفَت العِدَّة، ولا الحَمل، ولا الحَيض»، وأنكَرَ ذلك.
• وسمعت أحمَد -مرةً أخرى- يقول: «أهل المدينَة يَقولون: الحامِل تَحيض». قال أحمد: «لا يكون حَيضٌ على حَمل».
٦٧٨ - حدثنا أبو الأزهَر، قال: ثنا أبو المُغيرَة، عن الأوزاعي -في الحامِل تَرَى الدم-؛ قال: «إذا رَأَت الحامِل صُفرَةً؛ توضَّأت وصَلَّت، وإن رَأَت دَمًا عَبيطًا؛ اغتَسَلَت».
٦٧٩ - حدثنا إسحاق، قال: أبنا جَرير، عن ليث، عن الشعبي، قال: «إذا رَأَت الحامِل دَمًا عَبيطًا؛ اغتَسَلَت وصَلَّت، وإن كانت تَرِيَّة؛ توضَّأت وصَلَّت».
٦٨٠ - حدثنا محمد بن الوَزير، قال: ثنا الوَليد بن مُسلِم، قال: ثنا أبو غنيم، عن نصيح، قال (١) -في الحامِل تَرَى الدم لَيسَت بالفارِك-: «فَلتَغتَسِل بَين وَقت الظُّهر ⦗٣٣٥⦘ والعَصر اغتِسالًا، ثم تُصَلِّي، فإن رَأَت صُفرَةً أو كُدرَة؛ غَسَلَت فَرجَها، ثم توضَّأت وصَلَّت».
