721 - Abu Ma'n narrated to us, saying: Khalid ibn al-Harith narrated to us, saying: Sa'id ibn Abi 'Arubah narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from Zayd ibn Thabit and 'A'ishah, that they both said: "If she has entered into the third menstrual cycle, then he has no way to her."

722 - Sa'id ibn Mansur narrated to us, saying: Sufyan narrated to us, from Mansur, from Ibrahim, from 'Alqamah, from 'Umar and 'Abd Allah, they said: "He has more right to her as long as she has not performed ghusl (full ablution) from the third menstrual cycle."

723 - Sa'id ibn 'Awn al-Ash'athi narrated to us, saying: Isma'il ibn 'Ayyash narrated to us, saying: 'Ubayd Allah ibn 'Ubayd al-Kala'i narrated to us, from Makhul, that Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, 'Umar ibn al-Khattab, 'Ali ibn Abi Talib, 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit, 'Abd Allah ibn Mas'ud, and 'Abd Allah ibn Qays al-Ash'ari used to say—regarding a man who divorces his wife once or twice—: "He is more entitled to her until she performs ghusl from the third menstrual cycle, and she inherits from him and he inherits from her."
