Masa'il Harb al-Kirmani: Book of Purification (Taharah) and Prayer (Salah) - Edited by al-Surayyi'
Volume 1 · Page 308

Translation · EN

And from that which clarifies the matter of the woman experiencing istihadah, that it is as we have described, is the action of Umar—may Allah be pleased with him—who prayed while his wound was gushing blood, and the action of Zayd ibn Thabit when he suffered from urinary incontinence; he would treat it as much as he could, and when it overcame him, he would perform wudu and pay no mind to what reached his garment. Similar instances to this are numerous, and in what we have clarified there is sufficient guidance for those who understand.
