I also heard Ishaq say: "The Sunnah has passed regarding a man who inserts his fingers into his nose, and blood comes out upon them," and he said: "As long as it is not flowing blood, there is no harm [in it]."
80 - Abu Bakr al-Humaydi narrated to us, saying: Sufyan narrated to us, saying: I heard Abu al-Zinad say: I saw Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab insert his ten fingers into his nose, then pull out blood, rub it off, then pray without performing wudu.
81 - Ishaq ibn 'Umar ibn Salit narrated to us, saying: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Humayd, from Bakr ibn 'Abd Allah, that Ibn 'Umar squeezed a pustule on his face, and some blood and pus (qayh) came out of it, then he prayed and did not perform wudu.
82 - He said: There was a man praying before him in the mosque who had been cupped, and some blood came out from his cupping site, so he took a pebble, wiped away the blood, and then buried the pebble.
83 - Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Abi Hazm informed us, saying: Bishr ibn 'Umar narrated to us, saying: I asked Malik ibn Anas about heavy nosebleed? He replied: "We do not consider it to require wudu." And he said: "One does not perform wudu except for a hadath (ritual impurity) that exits from the penis or the anus, or [due to] sleep, or [contact with] women."
• وسمعت إسحاق يقول: «مَضَت السُّنَّة في الرجل يُدخِل أصابِعَه في أَنفِه، فيَخرُج عَلَيها الدَّم»؛ قال: «ما لم يَكُن دمًا سائلًا؛ فلا بأس».
٨٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر الحُمَيدي، قال: ثنا سُفيان، قال: سمعت أبا الزِّناد، قال: رأيت سَعيد بن المسيَّب يُدخِل أصابِعَه العَشر في أَنفِه، ثم يُخرِج دَمًا، فيَفتِله، ثم يُصَلِّي ولا يتوضَّأ».
٨١ - حدثنا إسحاق بن عُمَر بن سَليط، قال: ثنا حَمَّاد بن سَلَمَة، عن حُمَيد، عن بكر بن عبد الله، أن ابن عُمَر عَصَرَ بَثرَةً في وَجهِه، فخَرَجَ منها شَيءٌ من دَمٍ وقَيح، ثم صَلَّى ولم يتوضَّأ.
٨٢ - قال: وكان رَجلٌ يُصَلِّي بَينَ يَدَيه في المسجِد قَد احتَجَم، فخَرَج من محجَمَتِه شَيءٌ من دَم، فأخذ حَصَاةً، فسَلَتَ الدَّم، ثم دَفَن الحَصَاة.
٨٣ - وأخبرنا محمد بن يَحيى بن أبي حَزم، قال: ثنا بِشر بن عُمَر، قال: سألت مالِك بن أنس عن الرُّعاف الكَثير؟ فقال: «لا نَرى فيه وضوءًا». وقال: «لا يتوضَّأ ⦗٨٧⦘ إلا من حَدَثٍ يَخرُجُ من ذَكَرٍ أو دُبُرٍ، أو نَومٍ، أو نِساء».
