909 - Ishaq said: "Al-Thaqafi informed us, from Khalid al-Hadhdha', from Abu Qilabah, who said: Malik ibn al-Huwayrith used to come to us and say, 'Shall I not pray for you the prayer of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him?' Thus, when he raised his head from the second prostration in the first rak'ah, he would sit upright, then rely on his hands and stand up."
910 - Sa'id ibn Mansur narrated to us, saying: Hushaym informed us, saying: Khalid al-Hadhdha' informed us, from Abu Qilabah, who said: Malik ibn al-Huwayrith informed us, saying: "When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, prayed, and he was in an odd-numbered rak'ah of his prayer, he would sit up straight, then stand up."
911 - Muhammad ibn al-Wazir al-Dimashqi narrated to us, saying: Al-Walid ibn Muslim narrated to us, saying: I asked Abu 'Amr al-Awza'i about rising from prostration and the tashahhud upon the balls of the feet without relying on my hands. He said: "That is the rising of the youths."
912 - Abu 'Amr said: And Ibn Shihab said: "The Sunnah of prayer is for a man to rely on his hands."
913 - Al-Walid said: Then I asked 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid ibn Jabir about that, and he informed me that he used to see Makhul, when he rose from his prostration and his tashahhud, rely on his hands."
