Translation · EN

970 - Muhammad ibn Yahya informed us, saying: Mu'adh ibn Mu'adh narrated to us, saying: Ibn 'Awn informed us, from 'Abdullah ibn Muslim ibn Yasar, from his father, who said: 'If a man recites a [verse of] prostration, he should not prostrate until he finishes the verse; when he finishes it, he should raise his hands, say the takbir, and prostrate.'

971 - Ibn 'Awn said: 'And Muhammad said the same as this.'

Chapter: Whoever recites a [verse of] prostration during Tawaf (circumambulation)

• I said to Ishaq: 'A man recites a [verse of] prostration while he is performing Tawaf of the House (the Ka'bah)?' He said: 'He should gesture [with his head].'

972 - Sa'id ibn Mansur narrated to us, saying: Hushaym narrated to us, saying: A sheikh informed us, saying: 'Ata' and al-Hakam were asked about someone who recites a [verse of] prostration during Tawaf? One of them said: "He should prostrate toward the House." The other said: "He should gesture."

973 - Hushaym said: "And it is more beloved to us."

Chapter: Whoever recites a [verse of] prostration while walking

• I said to Ishaq: 'What if he recites a [verse of] prostration while he is walking on the road?' He said: 'He should gesture.'

974 - Sa'id ibn Mansur narrated to us, saying: Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, from Mansur, from Ibrahim, that a man asked al-Aswad about a prostration on the road, so he gestured with his head.

975 - Yahya ibn 'Uthman narrated to us, saying: Al-Yaman ibn 'Adi narrated to us, saying: I heard al-Zubaydi say: 'If a man recites a [verse of] prostration while he is on the road, he should gesture with his head.'

٩٧٠ - أخبرنا محمد بن يَحيى، قال: ثنا مُعاذ بن مُعاذ، قال: أنا ابن عون، عن عبد الله بن مُسلِم بن يَسَار، عن أبيه، أنه قال: «إذا قَرأ الرجلُ السَّجدَةَ؛ لم يَسجُد حتى يَفرغ من الآية، فإذا فَرَغَ منها؛ رَفَعَ يَدَيه، وكَبَّر، وسَجَد»،

٩٧١ - قال ابن عون: «وقال محمدٌ مِثلَ هذا».

باب: مَنْ قَرَأ السَّجدَةَ في الطَّواف

• قلت لإسحاق: رَجلٌ قَرأ سَجدَةً ويَطوف بِالبَيت؟ قال: «يومئ».

٩٧٢ - حدثنا سَعيد بن مَنصور، قال: ثنا هُشَيم، قال: أبنا شيخ، قال: سُئل عَطاء والحكم عمَّن قَرأ السَّجدَة في الطَّواف؟ فقال أحَدُهما: «يَسجُد على البَيت». وقال الآخَر: «يومئ».

٩٧٣ - قال هُشَيم: «وهو أحَبُّ إلَيَنا».

باب: مَنْ قَرَأ السَّجدَةَ وَهو يَمشِي

• قلت لإسحاق: فإن قَرأ سَجدَةً وهو يَمشي في طَريق؟ قال: «يومئ».

٩٧٤ - حدثنا سَعيد بن مَنصور، قال: ثنا أبو عَوانَة، عن مَنصور، عن إبراهيم، أن رَجلًا سَأل الأسود عن سَجدَةٍ في الطَّريق؟ فأَومَأ بِرَأسِه.

٩٧٥ - حدثنا يَحيى بن عُثمان، قال: ثنا اليمان بن عدي، قال: سمعت الزبيدي يقول: «إذا قَرأ الرجلُ السَّجدَةَ وهو في الطَّريق؛ فَليومئ بِرَأسِه إيماءً».
