Translation · EN

1077 - He said: 'Isa ibn Yunus informed us, he said: Abu al-A'mash reported to us, he said: Umayr ibn Sa'id al-Nakha'i narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), that he would say that.'

• Abu Ya'qub said: 'And if he is an Imam, he should say: "O Allah, we ask You for all the good..." so that his supplication may be general.'

1078 - Abu al-Harith Abd al-Wahhab ibn al-Dahhak narrated to us, he said: Isma'il ibn 'Ayyash narrated to us, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abdullah, from 'Asim ibn Abi al-Najud, from Shaqiq, he said: Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say at the end of the Tashahhud: "Our Lord, reconcile our hearts, guide us to the paths of peace, deliver us from darkness into light, turn away from us indecencies, both those that are apparent and those that are hidden, and bless for us our hearing, our sight, our hearts, our spouses, and our offspring. Accept our repentance, for indeed You are the Oft-Returning, the Merciful. Our Lord, make us grateful for Your favors, praising You for them, speaking of them, and perfect them for us."
