• And I heard Ishaq say—again—: "If you are praying and there is a woman in front of you standing or sitting, or to your right or left, there is no harm, provided the woman is not in the middle of prayer."
He said: "And if she is at the side of a man, praying in the row with him, or following him in prayer, then her prayer is void, but the man's prayer is valid; because she is disobedient for what she was commanded—to be at the back of the rows by herself if there are no women with her; but if there are women, she should be with them in the row. Therefore, we said: she is disobedient, and the man who is at her side is obedient to Allah and His Messenger in his standing in the row with the men, and the disobedient person cannot invalidate the prayer of the obedient one."
1099 - Muhammad ibn Nasr narrated to us, he said: Hassan ibn Ibrahim narrated to us—regarding a man who was praying, and a man [had] a shaft (nushshabah) in front of him, or he had not yet set it up (rakaza), then a woman came and prayed in front of him, and the shaft was between them; does his prayer become void?—He said: Sufyan said: "If he did not remember [to set it up], his prayer is void." I said: "What if he remembered after he saw her praying in front of him; does his prayer become void?" He said: "No."

• وسمعت إسحاق -مرةً أخرى- يقول: «إذا كُنتَ تُصَلِّي وبَينَ يَدَيك امرأةٌ قائمَةٌ أو قاعِدَة، أو عن يَمينك أو عن يَسَارك؛ فلا بأسَ إذا كانت المرأة في غَيرِ الصَّلاة».
قال: «وإن كانت بِجَنب رَجل؛ تُصَلِّي في الصَّفِّ مَعَه، أو تَقتَدي بِه؛ فإن صَلاتها فاسِدَة، وصَلاةُ الرجل جائزة؛ لأنها عاصيَة؛ لِمَا أُمِرَت أن تكون في آخِر الصُّفوف وَحدَها إن لم يَكُن مَعَها نِساء، فإن كان نِساءٌ كانَت مَعَهُنَّ في الصَّفّ، فلذلك قلنا: عاصيَة، والرجل الذي بِجَنبها مُطيعٌ لله وللرسول في إقامَته في الصَّفِّ مَعَ الرجل، فلا تكون العاصيَة تُفسِد على المطيع».
١٠٩٩ - حدثنا محمد بن نصر، قال: ثنا حَسَّان بن إبراهيم -في رَجلٍ صَلَّى، ورجل (١) بَينَ يَدَيه نُشَّابَة، أو لم يَركن (٢)، ثم جاءت امرأةٌ فصَلَّت أمامَه، والنُّشَّابَة بَينَهما؛ هل تَفسُد صَلاته؟ -؛ قال: قال سُفيان: «إن لم يذكر؛ فَسَدَت صَلاته». قلت: أرَأيت إن ذكر (٣) بَعدَما رآها تُصَلِّي أمامَه؛ هل تَفسُد صَلاته قال: «لا».
