1132 - Abu Umayyah narrated to us, he said: Qabisah narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from 'Aqabah al-Asadi, from Yazid ibn Abi Sulayman, who said: "Abu Wa'il used to pray with al-Mukhtar; he would perform the Friday prayer with him."
• Ishaq was asked about praying behind the people of opinion (ahl al-ra'y), and he said: "If he is righteous, there is no harm."
1133 - Ishaq narrated to us, he said: I heard Yahya ibn Adam say: "I prayed behind Muhammad ibn al-Hasan, and I repeated my prayer due to the poor quality of his prayer."
Chapter: Prayer in Fox Skins
• It was said to Ahmad ibn Hanbal: "What about praying behind someone wearing fox skins?" He said: "If he interprets [the evidence] to permit it, then there is no harm." He said: "Some people say: There is no harm in warming oneself with them, but as for prayer, no."
1134 - 'Amr ibn 'Uthman and Abu Musa narrated to us, they said: al-Walid ibn Muslim narrated to us, he said: Sa'id ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz narrated from Makhul, who said: "Warm yourself with fox skins, but do not pray in them."
1135 - Yahya al-Himmani narrated to us, he said: Habban ibn 'Ali narrated to us, from Layth, from Mujahid and Tawus, 527 that they saw no harm in wearing them, but they disliked praying in them.
