Chapter: The Leftover Water of a Dog and a Pig
• I heard Ishaq say: "As for the leftover water of a dog and a pig, the person performing ablution should not use it, due to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: 'Wash the vessel from the dog seven times,' and the pig is like it or worse than it. Rather, he should perform tayammum and pray, and there is no repetition upon him if he finds water."
129 - Yahya ibn Abd al-Hamid narrated to us, he said: Sharik narrated to us, from Jabir, he said: I asked 'Amir about a man who performed ablution with the leftover water of a pig? He said: "He must repeat the ablution and repeat the prayer."
• And Ahmad was asked about a dog that laps from a vessel? He said: "Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah: 'It is washed seven times, the first of them with earth.'" Ahmad said: "It is washed seven times with water, and the eighth time with earth," leaning toward the hadith of Abdullah ibn Mughaffal, may Allah be pleased with him.
130 - Ahmad ibn Hanbal narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Shu'bah, he said: Abu al-Tayyah told me, from Mutarrif, from Ibn Mughaffal, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, ordered the killing of dogs, then he said: "What is between them and it?" and he granted a concession regarding the hunting dog and the sheep dog, and "If a dog laps in a vessel, wash it seven times, and the eighth time, smear it with earth."
131 - Mahmud ibn Khalid narrated to us, he said: Al-Walid ibn Muslim narrated to us, he said: And Ali ibn Hawshab informed me, from Makhul, who said: "One does not perform ablution with the leftover water of a dog."
132 - Mahmud narrated to us, he said: Al-Walid narrated to us, he said: Abu 'Amr al-Awza'i and Malik ibn Anas were asked: A trained dog that lapped in a vessel, should it be washed from it seven times just as it is washed from a non-trained one? He said: "Yes."

باب: سُؤر الكَلب والخِنزير
• سمعت إسحاق يقول: «أما سُؤر الكَلب والخِنزير؛ فلا يَتوضَّأ به المُتَوَضِّئ؛ لقول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: «اغسِل الإناء من الكَلب سَبعًا»، والخِنزير مِثلُه أو شَرٌّ منه، ولكن يَتيَمَّم ويُصَلِّي، ولا إعَادَةَ عَلَيه إذا وَجَدَ الماء».
١٢٩ - حدثنا يَحيى بن عبد الحَميد، قال: ثنا شَريك، عن جابِر، قال: سألت عامِرًا عن رَجلٍ توضَّأ بِسُؤر الخِنزير؟ قال: «يُعيدُ الوضوء، ويُعيدُ الصَّلاة».
• وسُئل أحمَد عن الكَلب يَلَغُ في الإناء؟ قال: «أبو الزِّناد، عن الأعرج، عن أبي هُرَيرَة: «يُغسَل سَبعَ مِرار، أولاهُنَّ بِالتُّراب»»، قال أحمد: «يُغسَل سَبعَ مِرارٍ بالماء، والثامِنَة بِالتُّراب»؛ ذَهَبَ إلى حديث عبد الله بن مُغَفَّل -رضي الله عنه-.
١٣٠ - حدثنا أحمَد بن حَنبل، قال: ثنا يَحيى بن سَعيد، عن شُعبَة، قال: أنا أبو التيَّاح، عن مُطرِّف، عن ابن مُغَفَّل، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أمر بِقَتل الكِلاب، ثم قال: «ما لَهم ولَها؟»، ورَخَّص في كَلب الصَّيد، وكَلب الغَنَم، و «إذا وَلَغَ الكَلب في الإناء؛ فاغسِله سَبعَ مِرار، والثامِنَة عَفِّره بِالتُّراب».
١٣١ - حدثنا مَحمود بن خالِد، قال: ثنا الوَليد بن مُسلِم، قال: وأخبرني علي بن حَوشَب، عن مَكحُول، قال: «لا يتوضَّأ بِسُؤر الكَلب».
١٣٢ - حدثنا مَحمود، قال: ثنا الوَليد، قال: قيل لأبي عَمرو الأوزاعي ومالِك ⦗١٠٦⦘ ابن أنس: كَلبٌ مُعَلَّمٌ وَلَغَ في إناء، أيُغسَل مِنه سَبعَ مَرَّاتٍ كَما يُغسَل من غَير المعلَّم؟ قال (١): «نَعم».
