1227 - Ahmad ibn Sa'id narrated to us, he said: 'Umar ibn Habib narrated to us, he said: Khalid al-Hadhdha' narrated to us, he said: "Abu Qilabah used to slaughter snakes; he would put them into the theriac (antidote)."
Chapter: The man who prays while having pig hair with him
1228 - Al-Musayyab ibn Wadih narrated to us, he said: I asked Abu Ishaq al-Fazari about the cobbler who works with pig hair, passing it through his mouth and working with it? He saw no harm in that. I said to him: What if he prays while it is with him, or on his ear? He said: "He must repeat the prayer."
1229 - He said: And I asked Makhlad ibn Husayn about working with it? He saw no harm in it.
Chapter: One who prays while there is human hair in his sleeve
Ishaq was asked about a man who had a lock of hair (jummah), cut it off, and placed it in his sleeve; does he pray while it is in his sleeve? He said: "He should not pray," and he did not grant him a concession. He said: "Whatever is cut from a living being is dead."
And I heard Ishaq - another time - say: "Everything that falls from the hair of a man or a woman, if human hair is joined to it, prayer is not valid with it. If he prays while it is with him, he must repeat it, because hair from humans cannot be made use of in any state, whereas the hair of animals whose meat is not eaten may be made use of, whether slaughtered or alive."
١٢٢٧ - حدثنا أحمَد بن سَعيد، قال: ثنا عُمَر بن حبيب، قال: ثنا خالِد الحذاء، قال: «كان أبو قلابة يذكي الحَيَّات؛ يَجعَلها في التِّرياق».
باب: الرَّجل يُصَلِّي ومَعَه شَعرُ خِنزير
• سألت إسحاق عن الرجل يُصَلِّي وقَد شَدَّ على تَكَّتِه شَعراتٍ من شَعر الخِنزير؛ مِثلَ الإسكاف وغَيره؟ قال: «يُعيدُ الصَّلاة».
١٢٢٨ - حدثنا المسيَّب بن واضِح، قال: سألت أبا إسحاق الفَزاري عن الإسكاف يَعمَل بِشَعر الخِنزير، ويُمِرُّه في فَمِه، ويَعمَل بِه؟ فلم يَرَ بِذلك بأسًا. قلت له: فإن صَلَّى وهو مَعَه، أو على أُذُنه؟ قال: «يُعيدُ الصَّلاة».
١٢٢٩ - قال: وسألت مخلد بن حسين عن العَمَل بِه؟ فلم يَرَ بِهِ بأسًا.
باب: مَنْ صَلَّى وفي كُمِّه شَعرُ الآدمِيِّين
• وسُئل إسحاق عن رَجلٍ لَه جُمَّة، فطَمَّها، ووَضَعَها في كُمِّه؛ هل يُصَلِّي وهي في كُمِّه؟ قال: «لا يُصَلِّي»، ولم يُرَخِّص لَه، وقال: «ما قُطِعَ من الحَيِّ فَهو مَيْت».
• وسمعت إسحاق -مرةً أخرى- يقول: «كُلُّ شَيءٍ يَسقُط من شَعرِ رَجلٍ أو امرأة، فَوصل بِهِ شَعر آدَميّ؛ لم تَجُز الصَّلاة مَعَه، فإن صَلَّى فيه أعاد؛ لأن الشَّعر من الآدميِّين لا يُستَمتَع بِهِ على حالٍ، ويُستَمتَع بِشُعور البَهائم التي لا تُؤكَل لُحومُها؛ ذَكيًّا وحَيًّا».
