1267 - 'Abbas narrated to us, saying: Yazid ibn Zuray' narrated to us, saying: Yunus narrated to us, from Ibn Sirin and al-Hasan; they both said: "The one who faints does not repeat [the prayers]."
1268 - Muhammad ibn Nasr narrated to us, saying: Hassan ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, from Hisham al-Qardusi, that al-Hasan was asked about the one who faints? He said: "If it was for a day until the night, he does not make it up; but if it was for part of a day or part of a night, he does make up what he missed."
Chapter: Prayer in a Single Garment
• Ishaq was asked about a man who prayed in a single garment, wrapping it around his waist (mu'taziran bihi), with nothing on his shoulders, and his navel was exposed? He said: "If it is a necessity, it is permissible."
1269 - Muhammad ibn Mu'awiyah narrated to us, saying: Sharik narrated to us, from 'Imran al-Bahli (1), who said: "I saw Ibn 'Umar praying in a single garment, wrapped around his waist."
1270 - Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr narrated to us, saying: 'Umar ibn Harun narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from Muhammad ibn Sabih, from Mu'adh ibn Jabal - may Allah be pleased with him -, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, prayed in a single garment. He wrapped himself in it, but it was too narrow for him, so he wrapped it around his waist and prayed in it while it was wrapped around his waist."
1271 - Yahya ibn 'Abd al-Hamid narrated to us, saying: 'Abd al-Salam narrated to us, from Ishaq ibn 'Abd Allah, from Ibrahim ibn Hunayn, from his father, from Ibn 'Abbas - may Allah be pleased with them both -, from 'Ali - may Allah be pleased with him -, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "If the garment is wide, wrap it around your shoulders (tawashshah bihi) and pray in it, and if it is narrow, wrap it around your waist (i'tazir bihi) and pray in it."

١٢٦٧ - حدثنا عَبَّاس، قال: ثنا يَزيد بن زُرَيع، قال: ثنا يونُس، عن ابن سيرين والحسَن؛ قالا: «المغمَى عَلَيه لا يُعيد».
١٢٦٨ - حدثنا محمد بن نصر، قال: ثنا حَسَّان بن إبراهيم، عن هِشام القردوسي، أن الحسَن سُئل عن المغمَى عَلَيه؟ فقال: «إن كان يَومًا إلى الليل؛ فلا يَقضي، وإن كان بَعضَ يَوم، أو بَعضَ لَيلَة؛ فإنه يَقضي ما فاته».
باب: الصَّلاة في ثوبٍ واحِد
• سُئل إسحاق عن رَجلٍ صَلَّى في ثَوبٍ واحِدٍ مُتَّزِرًا بِه؛ لَيسَ على مَنكِبَيه شَيء، وقَد بَدا سرته؟ قال: «إذا كان من ضَرورَة؛ فجائز».
١٢٦٩ - حدثنا محمد بن مُعاويَة، قال: ثنا شَريك، عن عِمران البحلي (١)، قال: «رأيت ابن عُمَر يُصَلِّي في ثَوبٍ واحِدٍ مُتَّزِرًا بِه».
١٢٧٠ - حدثنا محمد بن أبي بكر، قال: ثنا عُمَر بن هارون، عن ابن جُرَيج، عن محمد بن صبيح، عن مُعاذ بن جبل -رضي الله عنه-، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم صَلَّى في ثَوبٍ واحِد، فالتَحَفَ بِه، فضاق عَلَيه، فأتَزَر بِه، فصَلَّى فيه مُؤتَزِرًا بِه».
١٢٧١ - حدثنا يَحيى بن عبد الحَميد، قال: ثنا عبد السلام، عن إسحاق بن عبد الله، عن إبراهيم بن حنين، عن أبيه، عن ابن عَبَّاس -رضي الله عنهما-، عن علي -رضي الله عنه-، قال: قال ⦗٥٨٢⦘ النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: «إذا كان الثَّوب واسِعًا؛ فتَوَشَّح بِه، وصَلِّ فيه، وإذا كان ضَيِّقًا؛ فاتَّزِر بِه، وصَلِّ فيه».
