1279 - Ishaq narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Yazid narrated to us, saying: Umm Kathir narrated to us, saying: I heard Anas ibn Malik - may Allah be pleased with him - say: "A woman may pray in a chemise and a head-covering if it is thick."

1280 - Muhammad ibn Nasr narrated to us, saying: Hassan narrated to us, from Hisham al-Qardusi, from al-Hasan, from his mother, that she saw Umm Salamah, the Mother of the Believers - may Allah be pleased with her - praying in a chemise and a head-covering.

1281 - Ishaq narrated to us, saying: Abda ibn Sulayman informed us, from Ibn Abi Arubah, from Qatadah, from al-Hasan, that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "If a young girl reaches menstruation and does not cover her head, her prayer shall not be accepted."

1282 - Ishaq narrated to us, saying: al-Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman informed us, from Hisham, from al-Hasan, who said: "If a young girl reaches menstruation and prays without covering her ears, then she has no prayer."

1283 - Sa'id ibn Mansur narrated to us, saying: Hushaym informed us, saying: Mujalid informed us, from al-Sha'bi, from Masruq, that he was asked about a bondswoman: How should she pray? He said: "She should pray in the state in which she goes out to the market."

1284 - Ishaq narrated to us, saying: Waki' informed us, saying: Sharik narrated to us, from Jabir, from 'Amir - regarding an umm al-walad praying -; he said: "If she covers her head, it is good."
