Then it increases every day slightly until it is the day of Ashtadruz of the month of Harnan Mah—that is, Adhar Mah—which is the nineteenth of July. On that day, the day is fourteen hours and the night is ten hours. The sun enters Leo on that day at [a shadow of] one foot less a little, or less or more—if Allah wills—and the beginning of the time for 'Asr on that day is: eight feet less a little, or thereabouts—if Allah wills.

Then it increases every day slightly until it is the day of Asman Roz of the month of Tir Mah, which is the nineteenth of August. On that day, the day is thirteen hours and the night is eleven hours. On that day, the sun enters Virgo. Then it passes the meridian on that day at two feet less a sixth, or less or more—if Allah wills—and the beginning of the time for 'Asr on that day is: nine feet less a little, or thereabouts—if Allah wills.

Then it increases every day slightly until it is the day of Ramyad Roz of the month of Amurdad Mah, which is the nineteenth of September. On that day, the day is twelve hours and the night is twelve hours; they are equal. On that day, the sun enters Libra, autumn ends, and the beginning of winter enters. Then it passes the meridian on that day at three feet and a third, or less or more—if Allah wills—and the beginning of the time for 'Asr on that day is: ten feet and a third, or thereabouts—if Allah wills.
