Chapter: Filth on the Sandal or the Khuff
I said to Ahmad ibn Hanbal: "What if the urine is on the sandal or the khuff?" He said: "I hope that it is lighter." He added: "As for the hadith of the Prophet, peace be upon him, that he removed his sandals during his prayer due to something that was on them, it did not mention what was on the sandals, whether it was urine or otherwise."
17 - Abbas ibn Abd al-Azim narrated to us, saying: I heard Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi say: "If a man were to pray while there is the amount of a louse of excrement or urine on his khuff, I would order him to repeat the prayer."
18 - Abbas said: I mentioned this to Abu al-Walid, and he said to me: "He was strict."
19 - Mahmud ibn Khalid narrated to us, saying: Umar ibn Abd al-Wahid narrated to us, from al-Awza'i, from Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id al-Maqburi, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: "If one of you treads with his sandals in filth, then the soil is a means of purification for them."
20 - Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, saying: Isma'il ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, saying: Abdullah ibn Sim'an narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id al-Maqburi, from al-Qa'qa' ibn Hakim, from his father, from Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, who said: I said: "O Messenger of Allah, how can a man pray in his sandals while he treads on them in traces of filth?" He said: "The soil is a means of purification for them."
21 - Muhammad ibn Sulayman narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Jabir narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Ibrahim, from Alqamah, from Abdullah, that the Prophet, peace be upon him, removed his sandals during the prayer, so the people removed their sandals. He said: "Why did you do that?" They said: "We saw you remove yours, so we removed ours." He said: "Gabriel came to me and informed me that there was filth on them."
باب: القَذَر في النَّعل أو الخُفّ
• قلت لأحمَد بن حَنبل: فإن كان البَول في النَّعلِ أو الخُفّ؟ قال: «أرجو أن يكون أخَفّ». قال: «وأما حديث النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه خَلَعَ النَّعلَ في صَلاته من شَيءٍ كان عَلَيه؛ فإنه لم يَجئ ما كان في النَّعل؛ بَولٌ أو غَيرُه».
١٧ - حدثنا العَبَّاس بن عبد العَظيم، قال: سمعت عبد الرحمن بن مهدي يقول: «لَو أن رَجلاً صَلَّى وعلى خُفِّهِ قدرُ قَملةٍ من الغائط أو البَول؛ أمَرتُه أن يُعيدَ الصَّلاة».
١٨ - قال عَبَّاس: فذَكَرته لأبي الوَليد، فقال لي: «شَدَّد».
١٩ - حدثنا مَحمود بن خالِد، قال: ثنا عُمَر بن عبد الواحِد، عن الأوزاعي، عن سَعيد بن أبي سَعيد المقبُري، عن أبيه، عن أبي هُرَيرَة -رضي الله عنه-، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «إذا وَطِئَ أحَدُكم بِنَعلَيه في الأذى؛ فإن التُّراب لهما طَهُور».
٢٠ - حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن المبارَك، قال: ثنا إسماعيل بن إبراهيم، قال: ثنا عبد الله بن سمعان، عن سَعيد بن أبي سَعيد المقبُري، عن القَعقاع بن حَكيم، عن أبيه، عن عائشَة -رضي الله عنها-، قالت: قلت: يا رسول الله، كَيفَ يُصَلِّي الرجلُ في نَعلَيه، وهو يَطَؤهما في الآثار؟ قال: «التُّراب لهما طَهُور».
٢١ - حدثنا محمد بن سُلَيمان، قال: ثنا محمد بن جابِر، عن أبي إسحاق، عن ⦗٦٤⦘ إبراهيم، عن عَلقَمَة، عن عبد الله، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم خَلَعَ نَعلَيه في الصَّلاة، فخَلَعَ الناسُ نِعالَهم، قال: «لِمَ فَعَلتُم؟»، قالوا: رأيناك خَلَعت، فخَلَعنا، قال: «إن جِبريل أتاني، فأخبَرني أن بِهما قَشَبًا».
