202 - Sa'id ibn Mansur narrated to us, he said: Hushaym narrated to us, from Abu Hashim, from Abu Mijlaz, from Qays ibn 'Abbad, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri—may Allah be pleased with him—who said: "Whoever performs wudu' and says upon finishing: 'Glory be to You, O Allah, and with Your praise; I bear witness that there is no god but You, I seek Your forgiveness and repent to You,' it is written upon a scroll, then a seal is placed upon it, and it is placed under the Throne, not to be opened until the Day of Resurrection."

Chapter: Regarding One Who Imagines Something [Invalidating His Wudu'] During Prayer

• I asked Ahmad: A man is in prayer, and he suspects that something has exited from him? He said: "If he is in prayer, he does not look at it, and neither... (1)."

203 - 'Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr al-Humaydi narrated to us, Sufyan narrated, he said: Al-Zuhri narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab and 'Abbad ibn Tamim, from his uncle 'Abd Allah ibn Zayd, he said: It was complained to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, about a man who imagines something during prayer, so the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "He should not depart until he hears a sound or finds a scent."

204 - 'Abd al-Wahhab ibn al-Dahhak narrated to us, he said: Ibn 'Ayyash narrated to us, from 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Ubayd Allah, from Muhammad ibn 'Amr ibn 'Ata', he said: I saw al-Sa'ib ibn Khabbab, and he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "There is no wudu' except for a scent or a sound."
