Chapter: A Fly Lands on Excrement, Then Lands on a Garment

I asked Ishaq ibn Ibrahim, I said: "A fly landed on wet excrement, then it landed on my face or my garment?" He said: "As long as you are not certain, then there is nothing upon you."

22 - Abu Hafs narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Yusuf narrated to us, saying: al-Sari ibn Yahya narrated to us, saying: A man said to al-Hasan: "A man comes to the privy and sees a fly flying from wet excrement, and it lands on his garment?" He said: "Glory be to Allah! They ask about things that have been overlooked for them."

Chapter: Pouring Water on Najis (Impure) Ground, and Splashes from the Ground onto a Garment

I said to Ishaq: "A man poured some water on ground that had dried urine or dried excrement upon it, and that water, after it had been on the ground, splashed drops onto my garment?" He said: "You wash what that water, which splashed onto the urine and excrement, touched, until your garment becomes wet from it." He said: "And for that reason, it must be washed, because when water, urine, and excrement mix, their ruling becomes one; it must be washed." And I saw him being very strict regarding urine and excrement.

I said to Ishaq: "Then a man urinated in flowing water, and at the moment the urine enters the water, it splashes, and those drops that splash up from the water hit my garment?" He said: "There is nothing upon you."
