166 - Hārūn b. Yaḥyā narrated to us: Muḥammad b. Ziyād informed me, from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. ʿAbd Allāh b. Dīnār, from Zayd b. Aslam, that he recited to him verses spoken by Aʿshā Ṭarūd—and they are a tribe from Ḥudayla of Qays b. ʿUdwān—mentioning Paradise, saying:

Their clothing therein is silk, and beneath them ... are green couches the like of which has not been found.

And beautiful wide-eyed maidens, each a noble woman ... loving to her husband, a virgin when she comes to him.

And sweet water whose taste does not alter ... along with the water is the drink of bees, churned milk, and wine.
