49 - ʿAlī b. al-Jaʿd narrated to us, who said: al-Masʿūdī informed me, from ʿAmr b. Murra, who said: Abū ʿUbayda said: "Paradise is densely packed between its base and its top. Its fruit is like large pitchers. Whenever a fruit is plucked, another returns in its place. Its rivers flow in the spring of a trench. A cluster from it is twelve cubits." ʿAmr said: "I rushed to the Sheikh and said: 'Who narrated this to you?' He said to me: 'Truly, I do not lie to you; Masrūq narrated it to me.'"
