3 - Aḥmad b. ʿĪsā narrated to us: ʿAbd Allāh b. Wahb narrated to us: Abū Ṣakhra Ḥumayd b. Ziyād narrated to me that Abū Ḥāzim narrated to him. He said: I heard Sahl b. Saʿd al-Sāʿidī say: I attended a gathering of the Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, in which he described Paradise until he concluded. Then he said at the end of his speech: "In it is what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and has never crossed the heart of any human." Then he recited this verse: {Their sides part from their beds; they supplicate their Lord in fear and hope} up to his statement: {And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes}. He said: I then informed Muḥammad b. Kaʿb al-Quraẓī of it, and he said: "Did Abū Ḥāzim narrate this to you?" He said: I said, "Yes." [He said:] "There is much wisdom there.
